In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Town of East Kingston has taken the following temporary actions listed below by department. As you have heard, the Library has put new operating procedures into effect in order to both be available to the public and keep everyone safe. I think of the Library as a hub of our small town. The UBS is different, so I've given a great deal of thought as to our practice. The main objective is to keep all of us protected. The majority of the USB volunteers are in that over 60 age group, and need to be especially cautious. So:

Libby is what you need! Accessible with only your library card number, you can check books in and out through the app on your phone. Overdrive NH also works on desktop computers and can send books to your kindle as well. Kanopy Kanopy is a digital streaming service that is also accessible with just your library card! Kanopy has lots of amazing independent films, shorts for children and so much more! EBSCO Host EBSCO is a database that the library is lucky enough to have access to through the state of NH. With just a username and password, patrons of East Kingston have complete access to all the benefits of EBSCO. As SAU16 is closed for the next 2 weeks, research can be done through EBSCO!
