For Mother's Day, I figured we could do a craft that would look beautiful in celebration with the special day. Because we can't really go out and buy gifts or fancy cards, these stained glass decorations will make a beautiful addition to the Sunday morning sun peeking through the windows, or as a decoration in a pretty Mother's Day card! Don't forget to send us pictures! Email us at email@example.com or if you post on social media, use the hashtag #makersmeetingekpl.
Sometimes, you just need a little pick-me-up. Making some yummy snacks with things you can find in the cabinets is right up my alley! In this weeks video, we'll be making two different recipes with sliced bread: PB&J raviolis, and sliced bread cinnamon rolls! You can access the video on our Youtube channel. The button is on the right side of the screen. Download the written instructions (with pictures!) below. As always, don't forget to send us pictures of your creations!
This passed week was National Library Week, so I thought paper would be a relevant focus for this weeks virtual makers meeting. As always, we'd love to see the projects you work on, so send us a picture at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the hashtag #makersmeetingekpl. I hope you enjoy!
Our second Virtual Makers Meeting is up! We focused this weeks video on Earth Day, which is celebrated on April 22. It was created in 1970 to celebrate the earth and to show support in helping our environments.
To watch the video, click the youtube button on the right hand side of this page. Below are the written instructions (with pictures!) for both crafts.
Visit our youtube channel (button can be found on the right hand side of the screen) to watch our very first Virtual Makers Meeting! Below, you will find a PDF version of the instructions, complete with picture guides. Let us know what you think! Send us pictures of completed versions to email@example.com or use the hashtag #makersmeetingekpl
Our first February vacation program was an intro to 3D printing for kids! We learned about the machine, made coil pots to learn how the 3D printer layers the filament, and used perler beads to see how plastic melts to become something else. We still have open spots available for ImagArena on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 11am! Call us at 642-8333 to sign up! #eastkingstonnh #eastkingstonpubliclibrary #makersmeetingekpl #makerspace #ekplyouth #ekplphotogallery #3dprinting #steameducation
