Help Shape East Kingston Public Library’s Future

The East Kingston Public Library is beginning to work to revamp our three-year Strategic Plan, and the Board of Trustees wants to hear from our whole community.

Our strategic plan will set priorities that can include our services, programs, physical space, and technology. Before the Trustees make any decisions, we want to understand what matters most to the people our library serves.

The first step is a community-wide survey, which is available beginning today. It covers areas such as:

• How you currently use the library
• What you believe can make it more valuable to your household, and 
• How the library can better serve specific groups, from young families to seniors. 

This survey is only the beginning. In the coming months, the Board of Trustees will host a listening session or two where residents can share thoughts in person and hear more about the planning process.

As thanks for completing this survey, you can choose to enter a random drawing to receive one of three gift cards: one of two cards from Water Street Bookstore in Exeter, or a gift basket from Main Street Flower and Botanical Shops in East Kingston.

The survey is available now, both online and on paper. Pick up paper copies and return them to the library.
