The first is Operation Child Christmas, collected by the East Kingston Community United Methodist Church for the Samaritans Purse Shoe Box. The request is for small toys, personal items, and school supplies for children. The donation bin will be at the library until November 17. Next is Knit a Hat for a Homeless Veteran. Hats can be home-made or store-bought, crochet or knit. Collection goes until December 15. Lastly is the Toiletries for our Homeless Veterans. Items requested are soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, shaving cream, and hand lotion. Collection does until December 15. Fri., November 14 @ 6pm
