Through our book club was small today, we still had loads of fun! For “Revolutionary War on Wednesday,” we tea stained paper and wrote letters to our families (complete with a wax seal, of course). We tried to make butter and ate some 1780’s inspired snacks. Our “Buffalo Before Breakfast” Magic Tree House discussion was so much fun today! We discussed the book, made teepees and dream catchers, and then had a snack of jerky and mini teepees (made of rice krispy treats, pretzels, and fruit roll ups)! This months Magic Tree House book club was all about the Titanic! We started off with learning Morse code and writing secret messages to each other. Then we created and tested out our own versions of unsinkable boats.
